Outfield Festival is located along the coast in laidback, beachside settlement Te Awanga, well known for it’s thriving arts and crafts community, surf for days, and abundance of wineries, amongst other curiosities.
The venue address is 35 Gordon Road, Te Awanga, Hawkes Bay.
Simply turn right on to Gordon Road and at the end you will find a wide set of gates welcoming you through to Outfield Music, Food & Arts Festival.
For those that are familiar, it is the same farm as Outfoxed and the Clifton County Cricket Club

We have 2 bus routes available to and from Outfield, one from Hastings/Havelock/Haumoana + another from Taradale/Napier/Clive.
These will be available via our ticketing partner Flicket and you can find them as an ‘add-on’ ticket once you have purchased your Festival ticket.
There will be plenty of FREE PARKING on site and we strongly encourage carpooling with friends / family to help us reduce our carbon footprint!

Outfield Festival is for adults 18 years or older and their families.
Minors under 18 years of age on the date of entry can only enter if they are accompanied by their parent or legal guardian over the age of 30 to accompany them to the event. If you arrive at the gate and are under the age of 18, or fail to provide a valid form of identification listed or are not accompanied by your parent or legal guardian over the age of 30, you will be refused entry into the festival site.
Please read the below carefully.
Children who are 13 and under are free, however they do still require a ‘Kids 13 & Under Ticket’ and MUST be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian over the age of 30.
Youth 14 - 17 year old require a ‘Youth 13-17 Ticket’ and MUST be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian over the age of 30.
Due to our license, no one under 18 will be permitted entry without their parent or legal guardian over the age of 30.
18+ year olds require an ‘Adult 18+ Ticket’ and MUST present an acceptable form of ID before being presented with an 18+ wrist band.

By Law, the only forms of ID we can accept are:
A valid and current NZ Photo Drivers’ License
A valid and current Kiwi Access Card (formerly known as the 18+ Card)
A valid and current NZ or overseas Passport
Internatioanl IDs, expired IDs, Student IDs, credit cards, birth certificates, library cards, gun licenses, photocopies or digital copies on phones will not be accepted will NOT be accepted.

Outfield Festival runs a no pass out policy. Once you have entered the festival you cannot leave and re-enter.

Your ticket is your entry to the festival and allows you to access all 3 stages, bars, food court and art installation areas. Please note: Transport, food, drink and anything else within the festival grounds is a separate cost.

Absolutely! Every ticket tier will be assigned a specific Outfield wristband and you must wear this for the entire time you are at Outfield.
Anyone caught without an Outfield Festival wristband will be escorted out of the festival and will be banned from future Outfield events.

Our ticket scanners are capable of scanning from a cell phone or tablet device, just please make sure you have sufficient battery and your devices screen brightness is turned all the way up.

Outfield Festival has a zero tolerance to discrimination of any kind, at all times! We are all here to celebrate an amazing display of Music, Food and Art and we’re all in this together! Smile, make friends & enjoy your time at Outfield, you are in a very special part of the world! If anyone is making you feel uncomfortable, please talk to security or one of our staff.

You can use EFTPOS and cash at Outfield.

Bringing food and beverages into the festival is not permitted.
We have hand-picked a delicious selection of Hawkes Bay’s best food vendors who will be available on site all day to serve the incredible food Hawkes Bay is world renowned for.
We are sure they will have you wanting more!
If you have any special dietary requirements and need to bring in your own food, please contact us ahead of the event day.
There will also be a range of non-alcoholic drinks and water available to keep hydrated throughout the big day of fun!
You may also bring in empty bottles or water containers into the festival and there will be free water refill stations located across the festival site.

Strictly no BYO. Bags and vehicles will be searched on entry and any illegal contraband found will be confiscated and you risk being removed from the festival.

Yes, however as the festival is cradled between rolling hills there is limited cell phone reception on some networks.
The cell network with the best reception is Spark.

Yes. We are very lucky to have a meadow of mature Oak trees running directly through the festival site. These beautiful tress provide plenty of shade throughout the day and will be home to a number of curiosities throughout the day.

Yes however we strongly encourage carpooling with friends and family in a bid to help us reduce our carbon footprint as well as vehicle traffic on site.
Vehicles are permitted to be left here overnight however must be collected by 12pm on Sunday the 12th of February, ie the day after.

Outfield Festival is a family friendly event and any one under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Any person under the age of 18 who fails to come accompanied by a parent or legal guardian will be refused entry upon arrival.
As an attendee at Outfield Festival you allow the festival owners to use, in perpetuity, any photos or live footage captured by photographers of the crowd, performing artists, art installations + more at Outfield.

Absolutely! Outfield is proud to be a family friendly event and this relates to the campground as well. We have a specifically allocated family camping area for a quieter place for families with young children to mix and mingle.

Free buses will be operating at certain times throughout the day to transport campers to and from the Festival site.

All campers will have access to the communal food hall, showers/toilet blocks situated in the centre of the campsite and limited power plugs located in the communal hall.

The best way to guarantee a camp spot next to your friends is to arrive together. Campsites are allocated on a first-in first-served basis.

Unfortunately not. All vehicles must park in the general parking area, unless you have purchased a ‘Self Contained’ camping ticket.

Only if you have purchased a powered site. All other vehicles must park in the general parking area and no sleeping is permitted in the general parking area.

The campground is located at 70 Moore Road, Haumoana right near the Tukituki River and a short bus to Outfield Festival.

Snacks and food are allowed in the campsite however no gas cookers are permitted in the campsite.
Water and non-alcoholic beverages are fine, and a sensible amount of alcohol is allowed for those over 18 years and over.
This is STRICTLY limited to either 12 cans of beer, 10 cans of RTD, or one cask of wine per person.
Strictly no spirits or glass allowed.
This will be actively enforced by security and any person under the age of 18 caught drinking alcohol will have their camping and festival wristbands removed and be ejected from the campsite.

Each camp site is roughly 3m x 3m in size, so depending on how big your tent is and who’s tenting next to you, there may be space for a gazebo or shade covering next to your tent.

Occupancy is from 2-4 people. If you want to camp next to mates, its best to arrive together!
