Located near the beautiful TukiTuki River, Tukituki Camping offers out-of-towners a beautiful setting to extend their Outfield experience. Tukituki Camping is proud to be an inclusive family friendly campground and we encourage parents to bring their children along to perhaps their first festival camping experience, as well as groups of friends who want to make unforgettable festival memories in the sunny Hawkes Bay.

  • All camping tickets include a free bus from the campground to Outfield and back - a short drive away

  • Tukituki camping opens on Friday night, giving campers the ability to stay both Friday and Saturday.

  • Camping tickets DO NOT come with festival tickets, you must also purchase a festival ticket.

Camping FAQ’s

  • Absolutely! Outfield is proud to be a family friendly event and this relates to the campground as well.

    However minors, aged 17 and under MUST be accompanied by a Parent or Legal Guardian at all times on the camp site.

    Any camper who is 17 and under who is not accompanied by a Parent or Legal Guardian will be refused entry.

  • Free buses will be operating at certain times to transport campers to and from the Festival site.

  • All campers will have access to hang out in the communal food hall, showers/toilet blocks situated in the centre of the campsite and limited power plugs located in the communal hall.

  • The best way to guarantee a camp spot next to your friends is to arrive together. Campsites are allocated on a first-in first-served basis.

  • Unfortunately not. All vehicles must park in the general parking area, unless you have purchased a ‘Self Contained’ camping ticket. The parking area is a short walk from general and family camping

  • Only if you have purchased a self contained site. All other vehicles must park in the general parking area and no sleeping is permitted in the general parking area.

  • The campground is located at 70 Moore Road, Haumoana right near the Tukituki River and a short bus to Outfield Festival.

  • Yes absolutely!

    Please bring sufficient food and drink supplies to enjoy while you are at the campsite, however no gas cookers are permitted.

    Water and non-alcoholic beverages are fine, and a sensible amount of alcohol is allowed for those over 18 years and over.

    This is STRICTLY limited to either 12 cans of beer, 10 cans of RTD, or one cask of wine per person.

    Strictly no spirits or glass allowed.

    This will be actively enforced by security and any person under the age of 18 caught drinking alcohol will have their camping and festival wristbands removed and be ejected from the campsite.

  • Each camp site is roughly 5m x 5m in size, so depending on how big your tent is and who’s tenting next to you, there may be space for a gazebo or shade covering next to your tent.

  • All bedding is the responsibility of the individuals, unfortunately the camp does not provide any bedding.

  • All Campsite are required to be kept neat, clean, and free of debris.

    Waste bins will be located throughout the camp.

    Please help us leave no trace!

  • All cooking flames must be kept enclosed in off-the-ground containers, such as BBQs

    Do not dump coals, embers, or any fire remains in trash bins/dumpsters or on the grounds.

    Please ensure these are completely extinguished once you have finished using them

  • In our commitment to ensuring safety and preserving the beauty of our environment, we kindly request that you refrain from bringing the following items to the festival campsite. Possession of any of these items may result in denial of entry, confiscation of the item, removal from the premises, and potential notification of security or police authorities.

    • Large speakers or sound systems

    • animals

    • Compressed gas tanks (e.g., helium, nitrous)

    • Drones, remote-controlled vehicles, or toys

    • Illegal substances or related paraphernalia

    • Extra car batteries

    • Flammable materials, including fireworks

    • Bulky furniture (sofas, recliners, etc.)

    • Generators

    • Heating devices

    • Beer kegs

    • Open flames (candles, campfires, bamboo torches, etc.)

    • Balloons

    • Segways

    • Slip 'n' slides

    • Any form of weapon (real or toy)

    • Cooking inside tents

    • Excessive gas bottles

    If you're uncertain about an item, it's safer to assume it's not permitted and leave it at home.

  • While there will be camp staff and security monitoring the campsite at all times we strongly suggest leaving all valuables at home.

    Give yourself peace of mind knowing they’ll be safe at home.

  • Check in times are between 5pm - 9pm on Friday 30th January, and 8am - 12pm on Saturday 1st February

    Campers must be vacated by 10am Sunday
